How it Works? The LED Shaker Light uses a dual power system.
1) Works on two CR-2032 batteries which last well over 12 hours of constant useable light. The batteries are replaceable like a regular flashlight.
2) Works on Faraday's Principle of Magnetic Induction to produce a bright Crystal White light without batteries. As the flashlight is shaken, a magnet passes through a metal coil which, when you shake, "induces" voltage in the coil generating electricity. During prolonged use it can be shaken for 10-15 seconds every 2 or 3 minutes for bright light.

If you buy a Shaker Light that is NOT Dual Powered it's JUNK! I have used the other Shaker Lights, They work great if you don't stop shaking them! Once you stop the light starts to dim to about a candle light in less then a minute which is fine in a emergency. but not very useable. The Dual Power Shaker Light is a great stand alone LED Flashlight with the added feature of Shake & Shine Power!
